the one that's got the toughest road, i think there's criticism of jack lew and john brennan, but also i think especially for chuck hagel as secretary of defense. interestingly enough, he was a former republican senator, and i think he thought he'd get bipartisan support. hagel didn't make a lot of friends among republicans because he was well to the left of them on a lot of foreign policy issues. opposed the troop surge in iraq, and opposed get tough measures against iran. a lot of leading republican senators don't like him. and some top democrats who are at least on the fence about him, because he took -- he made a statement about gays that they didn't like several years back. and also he has not been an unquestioned supporter for israel. i think hagel has the toughest road to go. we'll be talking to two key senators about that and the fight over gun control, which is starting to pick up in the capital. kelly ayotte, rising republican star, and senator from connecticut, blumenthal. >> looks like john kerry is the one that might sail through easier than the other two? >> i think kerry w
